Project: Holocaust Reflections

Posted on: September 6th, 2012

During the 2011-2012 school year students from Mack MS and O’Callaghan MS participated in classes on the Holocaust at their school sites. At the end of classes the students had to do a project that reflected their impressions of what they learned. These projects were on display for more than 500 Holocaust Survivors and guests at Yom Hashoah this past April.

As a culminating activity, the students were taken to the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. This trip was under-written by The Governor’s Advisory Council on Education Relating to the Holocaust.
